To date, I've left coverage of the annihilation of Gaza to others such as Caitlin Johnstone and Ricky Hale since they cover it better and almost daily. But this holocaust cannot lie unmentioned while the world lies about this evil. Immediately the Propagandists will jump on that word "holocaust" claiming it is a sacrosanct term with only one meaning. That is entirely wrong and represents facile denial of the intended total elimination of the Palestinians. Far more humane would it be to put these people into gas chambers than subjecting them to this forced, ongoing Long Suffering with the intent of them all dying. One can no longer play the holocaust card after committing one themselves. Before international law was subsumed by the powers of Exceptionalism, especially these perpetrators of all-encompassing Evil, invasion of the territory of others was illegal and if invaded, proper care of the population was expected. Instead, the epitome of Evil, the zionist entity, has imposed suffering beyond measure including the most abusive treatment possible of those taken prisoner. Yet the rest of the world accepts all this as normal and carries on shopping.
Not only carries on as normal, but actively supports and becomes a weapon of the zionists against their own peoples, initiating the final tombstone of free speech, actively suppressing any criticism of the zionist Evil in all Western nations. See articles by Ismaele and by Ricky Hale and the listing by the zionists of Caitlin Johnstone as a primary distributor of anti-zionism. Instead of leaving the heavy-lifting to these long-serving carriers of the torch, I must also take a stand on this issue as do all people with remaining agency.
The remnants of the Palestinian population are in severe deprivation in tents unsuitable for the weather, lined up right on the shores, in cold, wind, flooding, no food and clean water or medical assistance, in a small portion of their former lands and cut off from the former food-growing lands. And the remaining area keeps shrinking.
§This line from Leonard Cohen's song "Anthem" - "Ring the bells that still can ring" can leave me crying all day. I must add more lines to that! Something like this:
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
They need not ring in perfect harmony.
Call all those retaining agency
To take a stand for real decency.
The dove of peace has not been fed
She languishes in uncertainty
While darkness spreads across the land
And leaders play their failing hand.
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring.
(Ring the Bells)
(Ring the Bells)
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
They need not ring in perfect harmony.
Find a wedge, or two at least
Drive them in, to crack the Evil Beast
Split the zionists from the West
To end the engulfing surveillance,
Then through that crack, light may rein again.
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
(Ring the Bells)
(Ring the Bells)
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
They need not ring in perfect harmony.
Ne'er again, let that Anthem pass your lips,
Ne'er be fooled by leaders with deceit.
Have agency, to stand upon your feet,
Dismiss technology out of hand,
It spreads dark, we need more light.
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
(Ring the Bells)
(Ring the Bells)
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
They need not ring in perfect harmony.
Feed the dove, and mend her broken wing,
May she fly, and open up the sky,
To spread more peace and human decency
And in her flight she spreads the light
And banishes darkness from the land.
Ring the bells, the bells that still can ring,
(Ring the Bells)
(Ring the Bells)
See the original song, "Anthem" by Leonard
Cohen, live in London, 2008. He has a superbly fine band, and
kudos to the Webb Sisters in backup.
The lyrics are printed below the video.
